I like painting meadows going over, ponds in the rain, the hour when the light turns apricot and then goes. Mostly watercolour and gouache on cold-pressed paper. Sometimes oil on canvas.
Mostly slowly, mostly at a desk that is never as tidy as I mean it to be. Thank you for visiting my shop. I hope you like it here. :)
The sets
Sets, or one at a time
Most of the work was painted in groups, and it hangs best that way — three pieces that talk to each other rather than one on its own. That's why the sets exist, and why they're grouped the way they are.
But not every wall wants three. Anything that appears in a set is also sold on its own, in A5, A4 or A3. A set travels as one parcel with one shipping charge, so it works out cheaper than buying the same prints separately — that's the whole discount, no inflated price struck through.

The paper
How the prints are made
Every print is made to order on Hahnemühle German Etching — a 310gsm acid-free, archival paper with a soft, faintly textured surface. It holds the grain of a watercolour wash the way glossier papers can't, and it's the closest thing to the original I've found. Prints are made at a fine-art lab and posted from the one nearest you.
